Your first visit

Youth ages 12 to 20 are welcome to visit for a no-obligation introduction. We meet most Wednesdays from 6–9 p.m. First-time visitors should arrive at 7 p.m. for orientation. Check the calendar below for dates and exceptions.

Meet in the large classroom at the San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range, 3001 Davis St, San Leandro, CA 94577. The club provides all necessary gear; personal equipment is not required.

Participation requirements

• A parent or legal guardian must sign the required permission form (fillable PDF). Print, complete, and sign the form, then bring it with you on your first visit. You may instead email a completed and signed copy to info@sljorc.org.

• Youth participants must memorize and demonstrate the fundamental rules of safe gun handling (PDF) before beginning the program.

Included with membership

• Safety orientation and continued testing

• Instruction by NRA-certified instructors

• Use of precision target rifles, shooting jackets and gloves, eye and ear protection, shooting mats, and kneeling rolls

• Targets and ammunition

• NRA-recognized scoring and recording of progress

Fees

• Non-members: $10 per session

• Club members: $5 per session

• Annual membership: $50
