San Leandro Junior Optimist Rifle Club

The San Leandro Junior Optimist Rifle Club welcomes youth ages 12 to 20. Our supervised rifle-sports and community-service program develops sportsmanship, discipline, citizenship, and leadership.

Members learn safe handling and use of smallbore air and cartridge rifles through National Rifle Association (NRA) courses. A parent or guardian must sign a permission form, and new members must pass safety-focused tests.

The club is affiliated with the NRA and Junior Optimist International.
