Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

This policy covers the San Leandro Junior Optimist Rifle Club public website, sljorc.org, and inquiries sent to its contact email. For privacy questions, email info@sljorc.org.

Information you provide

If you email the club, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use that information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about the subject you contacted us about. Please include only information needed for your inquiry.

The website links to a blank parent or legal guardian permission form. Downloading the blank form does not submit a completed form to the club. This website policy does not describe the handling of completed permission forms or other offline club records. Please contact the club with questions about submitting, accessing, correcting, or removing information in those records.

Google services and technical information

Our website is hosted on Google Sites. It includes embedded Google Calendar and Google Maps features and links to documents hosted on Google Drive.

When you visit the website or use these features, your browser connects to Google. Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and interactions with its services. Cookies or similar technologies may be used under Google’s policies and your settings. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

As of the effective date above, Google Analytics is not configured in this website’s Google Sites settings. This does not mean that Google-hosted services operate without cookies or technical data processing.

Youth, families, and public content

Our program welcomes youth ages 12 to 20. The public website includes current and historical club officer listings. Parents, guardians, and members with questions or requests about information relating to them or their child, including a public listing, may contact info@sljorc.org.

Links and your choices

The website links to other organizations and services. Their own privacy policies govern information they collect when you visit them.

You can manage cookies through your browser and review privacy controls for Google services. Restricting cookies or other browser features may affect embedded calendars, maps, or document viewers.

For questions or requests about information you have provided through a website inquiry, email info@sljorc.org.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our website practices change and revise the effective date above.
